Founded in 2014 by passionate dance teacher Eddy Alfonso, Cubanía has since revolutionized the Dutch salsa world with its vibrant dance schools in The Hague and Den Bosch. Eddy Alfonso was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Before coming to the Netherlands, he taught salsa in Havana and led the Rueda de Casino group 'Casino Mix', performing regularly on Cuban television. His passion for music and close ties with Cuba keep him at the forefront of the salsa scene. Besides being an amazing dance teacher, he's also a popular DJ under the stage name DJ El Mulato.
